What you will find here
Short, useful stories about how people train, eat, and stay healthy. Celebrity routines with the year attached so you know how old the information is. Research explained in plain words, including the part where we tell you what the study could not prove. Nutrition math you can check yourself.
Here is the simple rule we use. If a story only makes sense when you own a specific machine, it does not belong here. That writing lives on our main site at workouthealthy.com. Insider is for the rest of it.
Who writes it
Chris Pruitt writes and reviews the work on this site. He is a certified ASFA personal trainer, he has spent more than 16 years in the fitness equipment business, and he founded WorkoutHealthy in 2016. Every article carries his name because someone should be accountable for what it says.
We use software tools to research and draft, the same way most publishers do now. A person checks the facts and signs off before anything goes live.
Why this site exists
We sell gym equipment for a living. That work pulls our main site toward buying advice, and it should. But a lot of good fitness writing has nothing to do with buying anything. Insider is where that writing goes, on its own site, with its own rules, so neither job gets in the way of the other.
How it pays for itself
Ads and our email list. That is the whole model. Insider carries no affiliate links, no product pitches, and no quote forms. When we mention something we sell, it is one plain link and you can ignore it.
Who owns it
WorkoutHealthy Insider is part of WorkoutHealthy LLC. The two sites share a company, an owner, and a set of standards. They do not share a sales pitch.
