Effective date: August 28, 2026
This policy explains what WorkoutHealthy Insider collects when you visit blog.workouthealthy.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. This site is operated by WorkoutHealthy LLC.
The short version
We do not sell your personal information. We collect basic analytics so we know which stories people read. We run ads, and ad companies use cookies. If you join our email list, we use your address to send you the newsletter and nothing else.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us through the contact form, we collect your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the site that sent you here. We use Google Analytics for this. It sets cookies to tell one visit apart from another.
Security information. We use Wordfence to protect the site. It logs IP addresses and request patterns to block attacks and failed login attempts.
Cookies and advertising
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies for three things: keeping the site fast, measuring traffic, and serving ads.
Advertising cookies. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other sites. Google uses advertising cookies to let it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to our site or other sites on the internet.
You can turn off personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some other vendors use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Turning off personalized ads does not remove ads. It makes them less relevant.
Third party ad vendors may also place cookies on this site. We do not control those cookies and we do not have access to what they collect. Their own privacy policies govern that data.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will see a consent message the first time you visit. You choose there whether we and our ad partners may use cookies for personalized advertising. You can change that choice at any time using the privacy link in the site footer.
How we use what we collect
- To show you the site and keep it working
- To understand which stories people read so we can write more of what works
- To send our newsletter to people who asked for it
- To answer messages you send us
- To keep the site secure and block abuse
- To show ads and measure how they perform
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email address with advertisers. We do not use your information to build a profile of you outside this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
If you join the newsletter, we store your email address with our email platform and use it to send you the Insider Five and occasional related messages. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list. We do not rent, sell, or trade the list.
Who else touches your data
These are the services that process data for this site. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Analytics, for traffic measurement
- Google AdSense, for advertising
- Our web host, for serving the site and storing server logs
- Our email platform, for newsletter delivery
- Wordfence, for security
How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept as long as we may need them to follow up. Security logs roll off on their own schedule.
Your choices and your rights
You can:
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it or delete it
- Ask us to stop using it
- Change or withdraw your advertising consent using the privacy link in the footer
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws in the United States. To use any of these rights, email contact@workouthealthy.com. We will respond within the time the law allows.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common standard for how sites should answer it, so we do not respond to it. The consent controls and opt out links above are the working way to control what is collected.
Links to other sites
Articles here link to other websites, including our own store at workouthealthy.com. Once you follow a link, that site privacy policy applies, not this one.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
